I have never been on a SUP before. Is that OK?

Absolutely. Your guide will give you lots of help and the tour begins with a training component.

 

​​Is SUP safe?

There are inherent dangers with water based activities but all steps are taken to ensure you have

a safe and enjoyable trip.

 

How old do I have to be? 

​12 yrs and older for all tours. 

 

Will I get wet?

Generally no, you may get a slightly wet feet getting onto the SUP. It is still a good idea to bring

along a towel and a change of clothes if you absolutely have to look your best afterwards! 

 

What kind of SUP’s do you use on the tour? 

The most stable and easy to paddle, think of it as a massive platform from which to enjoy the tour

and take plenty of snaps along the way. 

 

I don’t know if I am fit enough? 

If you occasionally play sport, walk, work out or are somewhat active you will be fine. The paddling is not too strenuous.

 

What if I want to come along by myself?

No problem! We can look after you with a private tour or jump on in to a group tour we have 4 per day.

 

Can I paddle with a friend? 

Yes, the more the merrier.

 

How long are the tours? 

Most tours are 90min (60min is guided and then you have free time to practice what you have learned) evening tours are 2hrs

 

How many people on each tour? 

Regular tours have a maximum of 8 but larger groups can be accommodated.

 

What does it include? 

All your SUP and safety equipment is provided including Life jacket, wetsuit and booties if you like. Your guide is there to answer any questions and look after you.

 

What do I need to bring?

You may wish to bring along extra water, hat, snacks and a camera. No special clothing is required - just dress appropriately for the weather. A towel and a change of clothes is a good idea if you are going out after the tour.

 

Can I take pictures?

Absolutely. There will be plenty of time for snaps along the way. Disposable waterproof cameras are ideal but we have had very few problems with digital cameras- so far! You can always ask your guide to hang on to your digital camera until you need it.

 

What if it rains? 

Supping in the rain is more fun than it sounds! The tours run rain, hail or shine; however, we reserve the right to cancel a tour if it is unsafe, usually due to strong winds. If you are worried about the weather you can call us on 0424 290 668

 

What if I have already paid and the tour gets cancelled?

We offer you a refund or you can reschedule.

 

What if I have already paid and I need to reschedule?

Please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can attempt to fill your spot. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 24 hours
